My stay here was could have been 5 stars except they ran out of pillows. I reserved a room for 2 adults and 3 children, the room was not big enough. Subsequently, I was upgraded to a bigger room which was very clean. The only problem was that there were not any blankets or pillows. I asked the front desk guy 3 times for blankets and pillows. He finally gave me the blankets and said no pillows. Ugh.
The stay itself was very pleasant. The staff if extreamly small in numbers. Maybe just 2-3 employees managing the entire establishment. So the service is a bit slugishing. For eg. The breakfast which was included in the stay ran out of food and was not stocked up when we arrived for the breakfast.
This place is a hidden gem. It's far enough from new orleans to be cheap, but chose enough too get to the city in about 20-25 minutes. We stayed in the king executive suite. It is huge. There's room for 4 people comfortably.
Great stay was a little distance from the French quarter but besides that great place for the price
A while back I accidently left some items in my hotel room at this La Quinta. The General Manager helped me to have the items shipped to my home. She provided excellent customer service and I truly appreciated her help.
Everyone else working for the hotel were pleasant and accommodating.
