The cashier lanes are often closed but when the lines are 4-5 deep there is no attempt to get help to the front lines.people may be on break or doing other task but managers should help or call someone to help..
Came in to purchase some gaming systems. The young lady in the electronics department was great but she was left by herself during Christmas time while the other associate was too busy texting and talking to other associates. While trying to use my tax exempt status I was given a 30 minute run around that resulted in me being told to call back between 5am and 2 pm and talk to accounting as they are the only ones that can help. Called at 6 no answer called at 9. They said accounting opened at 8 and any body in customer service could have helped but it's a lot of work to register someone as tax exempt and they were probably being lazy. Terrible experience but young lady in electronics was a great associate with a positive attitude and since of urgency.
This location lacks employees with customer service skills , many times when searching for items I get a reply such as it's not my dept or they just don't know without any effort to help/get help or make any suggestions that imply that they care.
Associates were very rude, customer service is a joke here! Isles full of freight all the time, out of place items. Baskets full of items to be re-stocked everywhere. You'd be lucky if you spend less time checking out than actually shopping. It's probably worth the drive to Metaraie, Kenner, or Harahan for better service and selection of merchandise.
Typically, the store is clean and departments have employees around and about. There are never enough checkout lanes open, not does management seem concerned with lines stretching into the departments at the center of the store.
Self check-out is the only reason I return to this store for purchases of 15-30 dollars just to slow
Typically, floor managers will respond in a less than friendly manner when you request additional lanes be opened.
The store seems to often not fully stocked lots of open shelf space.
